While we can arrange a rush move in as little as 24 hours, more time allows more options for school search assistance, home sale and home purchase, household goods movers, car shippers, temporary housing, etc.
Peak moving season (May – September) accounts for 75% of moves annually. While not required, 6-8+ weeks advance notice will ensure the most available options for moves occurring during this time of year.
During the colder months (October – April), suppliers tend not to be booked up, so 2-3+ weeks notice works well, keeping in mind the last week of every month fills up first.
International moving is a complicated process, and most movers are booked months in advance year-round. Ideally, 3+ months’ notice is preferred for an international move. This allows us to coordinate all services based on the timing of the visa and immigration application approval.
